The purpose of the Florida Keys Wreck Diver Specialty course is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and excitement of diving the wrecks of the Florida Keys. The Florida Keys Wreck Diver Specialty course is intended as a safe, supervised introduction to diving these wrecks, with emphasis on fun and safety.

The knowledge development portion of this course is covered during pre-dive and post-dive briefings and a classroom presentation.
The Florida Keys Wreck Diver course includes four open water training dives conducted over two days. Each dive will be conducted on a different artificial reef wreck dive in the Florida Keys and will be on four of the following artificial reefs: The USS Spiegel Grove, USCGC Duane, USCGC Bibb,Eagle, Thunderbolt, Adolphus Busch Sr, Cayman Salvager, Joe’s Tug or the USS Vandenberg. There are no penetration dives.
Recreational (Specialty/Distinctive)
$299.00 per person with the purchase of required student materials, otherwise add $29.90.
Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization, and be at least 15 years old.
Proof of certification and Continuing Education Administrative Document, plus a physician's statement (if you have a medical condition that would affect your ability to dive).
All students participating in PADI confined and open water dives are required to have a current Medical Statement on file. If you answer YES to any of the listed conditions, you will also need to obtain physician's approval prior to the first water session. It is the student's responsibility to obtain proper medical clearance prior to diving and we cannot make exceptions.
